Changing Belief Systems

Seven Paths

When setting the intention to upgrade your identity and become the person you want to be, you must look at it on an identity level and see it as a “mission” rather than a specific outcome. Your mission may contain many goals and not a single one which is okay, because you are investing in a new path filled with direction that will successfully get you to where you want to go, instead of short cuts that will get you there faster. While faster may be better in some cases, it’s not always efficient and you want to limit the need to rewind and fix something that you skipped when you were already on the topic. By looking at your new identity as a mission, you give it a more powerful context and will better craft it to highlight the values and criterias of your old self that you want to change and elevate so they will better suit you. Once you begin to work towards changing your beliefs, getting outside them, and visiting yourself on a deeper level, you will be able to heal yourself and tie all your organizational systems within you together, connecting them on a spiritual level. This will then allow you to live as your authentic self, find your soul’s true purpose, and operate from a pure identity (Figure 1). You have to tap in and satisfy your identity and soul needs (just like utilizing Maslow’s Hierarchy) in order to feel one with yourself and be fulfilled with who you are.
